Kassi G., RN, BSN

Kassi has been a nurse for 7 years and the WCC Clinic Manager for 2 years. Kassi is licensed through the State of Illinois and offers confidential, accurate, and safe medical care. Kassi has been providing medical services such as pregnancy testing, STI testing, STI treatment, and limited OB ultrasounds for 5 years with Women’s Care Clinic. In addition to providing medical services at Women’s Care Clinic, she works at our local medical center providing excellent care for the community of Danville. 

Kasey M., RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)

Kasey has had 31 years of experience in Medical Imaging and provides quality ultrasounds based on the principles of ALARA and ultrasound physics. All her exams are completed with NIFLA guidelines in mind. Kasey has been performing ultrasounds for women at Women’s Care Clinic for 12 years and has loved every minute of it. In addition to serving as an ultrasound provider at Women’s Care Clinic, Kasey works with Soundview Imaging and trains other nurses in limited OB ultrasounds across the nation.  

Mary S., LPN, BS

Mary has been a nurse for 25+ years and has 17 years of experience working at Women’s Care Clinic. Mary provides quality, medical grade, confidential pregnancy testing services. She also provides state of the art, confidential ultrasound services at Women’s Care Clinic.

Dr. Jeanelle Murphy, MD

Dr. Murphy has been the overseeing Medical Director since 2010. She graduated from the Western Univ Health Sci College of Osteopathic Medicine of The Pacific in 2006. She works in Champaign, IL. Dr. Murphy oversees all medical staff and reports.

Understanding Our Roles: Medical Definitions

RDMS: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers are qualified to do ultrasounds without further technical training. They are also qualified to train nurses in limited OB ultrasound exams after nurses complete the didactic portion of the training.  

RN: Registered Nurses are individuals who have a nursing diploma and have passed the NCLEX-RN exam administered by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). All Registered Nurses undergo intense education to ensure they understand the best health practices and know the best care for their patients.  An RN can be trained in limited OB Ultrasound practices. 

LPN: Licensed Practical Nurses are trained in direct patient care. They are qualified to handle many tasks that are necessary to keep patients comfortable while in a medical setting. All Licensed Profession Nurses undergo rigorous education to understand the best health practices and know the best care for their patients. An LPN can be trained in limited OB Ultrasound practices.  

MD: Individuals are awarded and become a Doctor of Medicine after four years of completed undergraduate work and four years of completed medical school. Upon graduation, MDs complete at least 3 years of residency. Through their education and residency, MDs undergo rigorous training in the medical field.
